12-25 Volunteer Program

Our Youth are our future, they need a voice and a platform where they can be creative,

make a difference to community and feel wanted and valued.

All our programs are youth lead with over 70% of our volunteers fitting within the category 12-25 years. We work with lots of different community groups, charities and businesses to empower and connect our Young Start volunteers in making their their projects a reality.

We use a holistic approach in which we listen to our youths what they want and need, to not only support the company but also build their confidence and work on developing transferable skills they can use within the workplace or further education.

Within our community hub we understand that everyone is individual and have different

talents. We work with our mentor to have one to one training and meetings to identify skills

and help enhance these skills within their volunteering role.

We are registered with saltire awards, but also have a badge system in place to help Youth

be recognized for their achievements.

We allow all youths to develop their own projects whilst we support and nurture them to fulfil 

the project: one of our main sessions is our mindfulness groups that we have set up to

support the volunteers build emotional skills and tools to help and support others.
